2021年，海南離島免稅購物金額495億元，與上年相比增長80%，購物人數(shù)672萬人次，購物件數(shù)7000余萬件。

The southern Chinese island province of Hainan reported 49.5 billion yuan of offshore duty-free shopping in 2021, up 80% year on year, with more than 70 million items bought by 6.72 million shoppers.

【知識(shí)點(diǎn)】
離島免稅政策是指對(duì)乘飛機(jī)、火車、輪船離島（不包括離境）旅客實(shí)行限值、限量、限品種免進(jìn)口稅購物，在實(shí)施離島免稅政策的免稅商店內(nèi)或經(jīng)批準(zhǔn)的網(wǎng)上銷售窗口付款，在機(jī)場、火車站、港口碼頭指定區(qū)域提貨離島的稅收優(yōu)惠政策。離島免稅政策免稅稅種為關(guān)稅、進(jìn)口環(huán)節(jié)增值稅和消費(fèi)稅。
2011年3月24日，中國財(cái)政部發(fā)布了《關(guān)于開展海南離島旅客免稅購物政策試點(diǎn)的公告》。2011年4月20日起，海南實(shí)施“離島免稅”政策。2020年6月1日，黨中央、國務(wù)院印發(fā)《海南自由貿(mào)易港建設(shè)總體方案》，提出“放寬離島免稅購物額度至每年每人10萬元，擴(kuò)大免稅商品種類”，自2020年7月1日起實(shí)施。
截至目前，海南離島免稅經(jīng)營主體共5家，離島免稅店共10家，各免稅店品牌進(jìn)駐數(shù)量超過720個(gè)。海南離島免稅品品牌、品種、價(jià)格加快與國際同步，為消費(fèi)者提供了更多購物選擇。
